I had a call from a good friend to have lunch on Friday. It sounded like a great idea although I already had a date for the day...Jonah. It was decided he would take both of us to lunch. I packed dinosaurs and all fun things for a four year old and we were off to lunch.
It was a perfect day to sit in the deli on the square, have lunch, conversation and watch it snow!
Steve Etheridge is a fine storyteller. We share the stage on Halloween and often in Indianapolis as well. The conversation ranged from storytelling to politics! Jonah was a great date playing with the toys and joining in the conversation (quite often) Two quick hours went by and it was time to leave. We wished Steve farewell and thanked him for lunch as we went to the courthouse for a brief tour. Jonah got stickers and had his own personal sheriff's tour at the Angola court house. We were disappointed that we couldn't go up to the cupola...maybe another day!
All in all, it was a fine day!
