I do not think I have ever known an Autumn to last thing long or be of such great beauty. It is as if a painter stopped in his or her tracks and couldn't move on. What a lovely, lovely day. Here are a few photos of my old purple house and yard.

I think Autumn has been gorgeous everywhere and it has lasted so long!! You just can't look hard or long enough, right?
